PINK BUNNY was held at NowHere Gallery in SoHo, New York, from October 24 to November 24, 2024. This exhibition marked the gallery’s final show at its 40 Wooster Street location before relocating in spring 2025 .

The exhibition presented a modern revival of Kikuchi’s original 2014 performance, blending puppetry, animation, and visual storytelling to create a dreamlike universe where fantasy and reality intertwine. Drawing from her background as the daughter of a psychoanalyst, Kikuchi delves into the subconscious, exploring themes of identity and transformation .

Live performances of PINK BUNNY were held within the gallery space from November 1 to 23, 2024. These hybrid standing-seating events encouraged audience movement, enhancing the immersive experience. The performances were suitable for all ages and complemented the visual artworks on display .
